How to prune fruit trees

Top Ten drought-resistant plants

In this region of France, summers are typically hot and dry so we have tried to focus our choice of plants in the garden on those which can withstand dry conditions. Although we are still discovering new plants that fare well, here is a listing of our favorite drought-tolerant plants currently growing in Graham's Garden. Remember that it's best to plant small specimens of new plants for optimum success in the first few years. You can and indeed should water them if they show signs of failing in the months after planting, but they should survive with no attention in subsequent years.
